About Me

Brooke Wagenbach is a Minnesota based Illustrator and design. I am currently a student at University of Wisconsin - Stout pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration with a minor in Sales and Marketing.

Making button prints to use my print clubs new button maker. I wanted to try making two buttons of each of the three designs that I have: frog, lobster, and beetle(sticker designs soon)

Our button maker had a few different sizes but I ended up going with the biggest size which was a 2 inch by 2 inch.

This print is of the entrance to my cabin up in Northern Minnesota and this is apart of my Intermediate Printmaking class.

This was carved into an MDF block and printed on Stonehenge paper. I used watercolor and colored pencils on top of the print to add detail.

As apart of my printmaking class we decided on a prompt for the rest of the semester which mine is depicting parts of my cabin and the emotions tied to them through the art style that is used.

This piece is also being included in my classes exhibit in room 209 at the Applied Arts building at UW Stout.

This is my cover design for @golden.coil and their annual 📔 cover design.

This cover design was created based on looking the the previous winning designs for this annual competition which almost all of them included a floral composition.

The color palette was the biggest challenge I had with this design and ended up going with what colors I would individually want my journal to look like.

I used the red color because it’s so distinct and pops especially when mixed with the orange and yellow colors.

This lobster design is one of my favorites because the design is inspired by my first year I spent in Portland Maine at the ⚓️Maine college of art and design. I loved all of the east coast culture even though I ended up transferring.

Although the main concept was to create a depiction of a space landscape This piece was created without any references or specific inspiration. The canvas size of the piece is 11 inches by 17 inches so that it could be used as a large print.

Lobster sticker production Timelapse! These stickers were made by using a rubber print block for the base color and used an @ohuhuart alcohol marker on top for the line work. I am very happy with how these turned out and sold some of them at the recent print sale. I will hopefully be able to make more and be able to sell them online in the future

The words that I chose were War, Noise, and Router. The War composition uses the map of the trenches from WW1. The noise composition used the designs from the study of how sound looks (The Chladni plate experiment). #design #graphicdesigns #art #uwstout #adobeillustrator #lineanddot
